On April 7 – 10, 2020, the Main Media Centre in Sochi will host one of the largest industry events – the XI International Exhibition on Industrial Safety and Labour Protection “SAPE 2020 – Complex Occupational Safety and Health”. For the first time the Exhibition will feature SAPE LAB – an interactive space with the focus on best practices and knowledge in field of technologies aimed at occupational safety and health protection.

Manufacturers and distributors will be able to arrange presentations in any format that suits them to demonstrate capacities of smart technologies in field of labour protection and industrial safety starkly. Also, guests of the Exhibition can expect traditional test drives of brand new inventions in field of PPE, safety equipment feasibility demonstrations, experiments, surprises, presents and many other things.

The International Exhibition on Industrial Safety and Labour Protection “SAPE 2020 – Complex Occupational Safety and Health” will take place for the 11th time, and for the first time – in partnership with the Roscongress Foundation. As always, the event will be held in the framework of the Russia Health and Safety Week with the assistance of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Annually over 150 Russian and foreign companies from 19 countries take part in the Exhibition. The total area of presentation pavilions exceeds 10,000 sq. m.
The event is organised by JSC Elektrifikatsiya, one of the major operators of congress and exhibition projects in field of power industry, including the Russian Energy Week (REW), ENES, the All-Russian Energy Conservation Festival #BrighterTogether (#ВместеЯрче), the ARWE International Forum on Renewable Energy, etc.

Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev and Electrification JSC General Director Vladimir Zatynayko discussed a plan on joint preparations for the 11th ‘SAPE 2020 — Complex Occupational Safety and Health’ International Exhibition on Industrial and Occupational Safety and signed the corresponding roadmap as part of the Strategic Partnership Agreement for the Development of Effective and Long-Term Cooperation that the two companies signed at the SPIEF in 2018
Stuglev said the roadmap expands the list of strategic focuses supported by the Foundation and expressed confidence that the two companies would have fruitful cooperation and that the joint event would be held at the highest level in 2020
The companies plan to collaborate for the long term. In 2021, the event will be held in a new global format that the parties will announce later. Work will be carried out to expand SAPE’s position as a leading world-class industry platform in Russia. Exhibitors will have new opportunities to expand business ties and promote their companies.

From April 7 to April 10, 2020, the Main Media Center in Sochi will host one of the largest industry events – the XI International Exhibition on Industrial Safety and Labor Protection “SAPE 2020 – Complex Occupational Safety and Health”.
The event will be held within the framework of the RUSSIA HEALTH AND SAFETY WEEK with the support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
- Over the years it was held, the SAPE exhibition has become a significant venue in the country, according to judgement of manufacturers who set new trends in the development and production of personal protective equipment. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation fully supports the initiatives regarding the development of domestic PPE market, substitution for imported goods, and improvement of the quality of manufactured and consumed products, – Head of the department, Maxim Topilin commented. – It is important that the SAPE exhibition provides an opportunity to hear the points of view of all those participating in the process – from manufacturers to end users.
SAPE 2020 will continue the trend of recent years with the focus on complex solutions that allow to provide the safety of employees’ lives and health most efficiently. New developments in the production of personal protective equipment, demonstration and testing of special equipment for emergency protection, industrial safety technologies, and digitalization projects will be presented by exhibitors in the exhibition hall and alley of the Main Media Center.

The X International Exhibition on Industrial Safety and Labor Protection “SAPE 2019 — Complex Occupational Safety and Health” opened on April 23 in the Main Media Center in Sochi. The event is being held in the framework of the RUSSIA HEALTH AND SAFETY WEEK with the assistance of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
More than 150 Russian and foreign companies presented new individual protection gear and digital solutions in the field of labor safety, including unique projects, samples of special clothing and footwear, hard hats, fabric and portable devices. Leaders of the industry demonstrated methods of safe work on heights in the non-stop mode, and presented scientific experiments and workshops on applying the exclusive products.
The innovativeness and scope of SAPE 2019 were positively assessed by Valery Korzh, Director of the Department of Work Conditions and Labor Protection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Russian Federation, who visited the stands of 3М, Dräger, ROSOMZ, Skincare, Vostok-Service, PERI, GASZNAK, System Technologies, QUAZAR and others.
“The SAPE exhibition has been growing continuously year after year, this is an obvious fact. What is important, new very interesting innovations appear. Today Russia is setting the global trend, we are among top 5 countries in terms of labor safety,” Valery Korzh said. "We have all been used to standard protective gear and standard medical solutions, and here we see unconventional protective gear and software complexes. I believe guests and participants of various forum events will gain a lot from attending SAPE.
On the exhibition's opening day the visitors, including representatives of energy and industrial holdings were most interested in smart individual protection gear and various comprehensive services.
Istok-Prom Production Complex, manufacturer of corporate uniforms, presented a broad range of products, including brand-new developments. The collection of clothes for paramilitary security forces, created with feedback from security guards themselves, was displayed especially prominently. All the clothes are comfortable, reliable and functional.
MPROFIKO Medical Clinic Association introduced the guests of the exhibition to major projects in the sphere of labor medicine: “Physicals across Russia,” and “Psychiatric Evaluation across Russia.” The projects were implemented in 64 regions of the country. With the help of unique software, the employer will be able to monitor staff compliance with physical examination requirements for fitness for duty in real time, using a protected channel with use of cutting-edge telemedicine technologies.
The exhibition will continue its work on April 24–26, and the events will include: a presentation ceremony for the prize “Best Innovative Product of the Russian Market of Individual Protective Gear'2018” and Krasnodar Krai EMERCOM Exercise on the square in front of the Main Media Center.

SAPE 2019, the X International Exhibition on Industrial Safety and Labor Protection, held under the motto “Comprehensive Industrial Safety” on April 23–26, 2019 in the Main Media Center in Sochi, has been completed.
The traditional event once again became a keynote feature of the RUSSIA HEALTH AND SAFETY WEEK, and included an address by Maksim Topilin, Minister of Labor and Social Security of the Russian Federation.
“One of the key directions of the state policy in the sphere of social and labor relations is the work we have been doing to prevent workplace accidents and traumas, provide our employees with individual protection gear, introduce cutting-edge technologies and equipment,” the Minister said in his remarks before the participants and guests of SAPE 2019. “No one doubts the social significance of SAPE. Over the decade the exhibition has turned into a famous and respected venue, where not only Russian and international scientific achievements in the field of safety and labor protection are presented, but also approaches to state management in this area are discussed.”
This year the event has beaten all the records of previous years. We have a larger number of exhibitors and participating countries, and the total area of the exposition increased as well.
“The main indicator of the exhibition's success is the 20% growth of the event. We have exceeded these indicators, we have about 30% of new exhibitors,” said Vladimir Zatynayko, General Director of Elektrifikatsiya JSC, the organizer company of SAPE. “For any European global exhibition success is defined by presentation of new products at the event. This has happened this year at SAPE 2019; our exhibitors have been actively introducing new products.”

A considerable emphasis among exhibition stands was made of digitization, including digitization in health care. A broad line of skin products for workers in the Arctic was also presented.
Also popular were not only stands located not only in the exhibition hall and the MMC Gallery, but the ones located outside, on the square in front of the building. Honeywell, Technoavia, 3M, and Pozhkhimzaschita R&D Corporation allowed every visitor to test their individual protective gear in real-life conditions. Krasnodar Krai EMERCOM staff demonstrated modern rescue technologies used for rescue of disaster victims.
The SAPE'2019 event included presentation of the industry prize “Best Innovative Product of the Russian Individual Protection Gear Market'2018,” co-organized this year by SAPE Exhibition. The winners included Dräger, Textime, and ROSOMZ (special SAPE Team prize).

More than 120 Russian and foreign companies will present the latest technologies and cutting-edge solutions in the field of labor protection, individual and collective protection. The area of presentation pavilions will increase by 20% to 7,500 sq. meters.
“The SAPE Exhibition is to be held for the 10th time already. Over the years it has scaled to become more popular and top requested. 3M, a global and Russian leader in the field of solutions for labor protection and industrial safety, will present a line of new-generation respirators that ensure protection, comfort, durability, ease of use and usability. A mobile laboratory will operate at the stand for technical experts to introduce engineering developments for determining PPE effectiveness under production-line conditions for visitors and to teach them how to define authenticity of PPE for the respiratory system. For the first time, 3M will present an interactive exhibit outdoors at SAPE for visitors of the exhibition to take part in an educational quest on labor protection and test solutions in practice.
The Suksun Optical and Mechanical Plant ROSOMZ, a leading Russian developer and manufacturer of individual protective equipment, will demonstrate SMART PPE: a smart helmet that allows monitoring safe work practices; a welding shield with a heated color filter to work at critically low temperatures of the environment.
The M-Profiko Clinic Association for Occupational Medicine will present the project “Medical Examinations across All Russia” which has been successfully implemented in 64 regions of our country. A specially designed program allows the employer to check the status of the medical examination process of their employees, as well as the status of their occupational aptitude, online via a secure link. Currently the program is monitoring more than 20,000 employees from various multidivisional organizations.
Vostok-Service Group, the largest Russian and European manufacturer and supplier of work clothes, safe shoes and PPE, will bring solutions made of locally produced fabrics and materials to SAPE 2019: samples of modern clothes in sport&casual style, polymer-coated gloves that retain plasticity at low temperatures, collections of new generation work shoes with lighter soles and a better design, as well as up-to-date equipment to provide services within the framework of outsourcing projects.
Participants of SAPE traditionally include residents of the Skolkovo Innovation Center: VISITECH and QUASAR. They will present an electronic system for a comprehensive medical examination, a model for remote factory management, a relaxation pod for fast recreation, and virtual reality glasses that project complex work projects with attention to smallest details.
This year the outdoor exposition will expand significantly. Honeywell, NPK Pozhkhimzashchita and Technoavia will deploy testing areas on the territory of the Main Media Center diromg all days of the event to show the application of PPEs in real life settings. Russian emergency experts will demonstrate modern technologies of rescuing people in various emergencies.
