Hevel Group - the largest producer in the field of solar energy, has entered a purchase agreement with Fortum to sell three solar power plants with 35 MW installed capacity.

The transaction is expected to be closed before the end of the year.

The Solar power plants are situated in the Orenburg region and the Republic of Bashkortostan. These plants were put into operation in 2016 and 2017. According to the service agreement, Hevel group will continue to provide operation and maintenance service at all of the three power plants.

According to CEO of Hevel Group Igor Shakhrai, Hevel Group has built 164 MW of solar power plants on the territory of Russia, and is going to put into operation about 1 GW of solar generation before 2024. This deal for us is a logical step in realization of our long-term strategy. Besides, we are the only one company in Russia, which has great experience in the solar plants operation activity in different climatological conditions. Here we see another area for development.
